Kátia Gerlach comes from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and has lived in New York City since 1998. She holds a Law degree from the State of Rio de Janeiro University and Masters in International Private Law from QMWC, University of London and NYU’s School of Law.  Gerlach is a member of “Universidad Desconocida” in Brooklyn, a collective of Ibero-American writers.  New York Foundation for the Arts fellow.  Gerlach’s literary work has been published in various books, anthologies, journals and magazines.  She participates in international literary fairs as moderator and writer.
