Pedro Marnoto is a filmmaker based in New York. His work has ranged from fiction short films to documentaries, music videos, performance and theatre. His shorts The Buffalo Kid and Gu were Official Selection at the Festival Caminhos do Cinema Português and the NY Portuguese Short Film Festival. In 2016, Pedro directed the musical short Conversation II, in collaboration with Renato Diz and Maria Quintanilla, based on a theme from their album Distance Chemistry. In 2017, Pedro co-directed Saudade Theatre's NY production of Mickael de Oliveira's The Constitution, staged in NY in August of the same year. In 2019, he is releasing Voices in the Fog, a feature documentary about the stories of former Portuguese cod fisherman residing in New Bedford. As a videographer, editor and storyboard artist, he's worked with Act Zero Productions, BBC, SyFy channel, Elizabeth Arden and others. He's currently the head editor at SPI International's channel Docubox in NY.
