Luís Carlos Santos, was born in Coimbra in 1966. At the early age of 12 years old he had extensive knowledge of music and even taught his art in private lessons. In Coimbra, and at age of 18 he taught music in numerous cultural associations of the city. During the 80’s and the 90’s he was a member of the most important fado group of the city at the time “Praxis Nova”, playing fado all over the country and the world. Over the years he also participated in several musical projects edited in CD and DVD. In 2010 he founded of the Fado Ao Centro project.
