Actor, director, performer, writer, composer, is career debuted in 1984. Since then, he has worked in theatre, cinema and television, along with publishing a novel (PEN award for first novel), a children book (APE award for first children book) and several short-stories and poems. In 2007, he created the Teatro Instável, directing and performing on his own productions. In 2012 he formed his first band, Beat Hotel, translating poems from the beat generation and composing music for them. He formed other bands, A Flor do Lácio, a mix  of music and poetry, and Canções para Poetas (Songs for Poets), presenting  original songs written for Portuguese and North-american poets. He also is part of another two poetry an music projects, No Precipício Era o Verbo and the Lisbon Poetry Orchestra.
