Francisco Cipriano

European Funds Expert

Portugal

I was born on May 20, 1969, I have a Master's degree in Geography and Regional and Local Planning. My professional life is linked to the management of community funds in Portugal and to international cooperation projects, in the Portuguese Public Administration, in the European Commission and currently in the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. I am also the driving force behind the project Application Laboratory, European Funds for Art, Culture and Creativity, a meeting place for ideas and people around the main European funding initiatives for the cultural sector.

Besides that I am a man of many activities. Advertising, writing, photography, traveling. Passionate about surfing, I see the waves as my form of liberation and a unique moment of harmony between man and nature.

I am the co-author of the first national surf guide, Portugal Surf Guide, your host in the documentary Movement, a journey into Creative Lives and I am ready to receive you in my The Minimal House.
