Born in Lisbon in 1980, the son of Cape Verdean parents, he has been dedicated to architecture since 2004, having worked on projects of different scales in various countries. In 2013, he was awarded the PNA - National Architecture Prize by the Order of Architects and by architect Eduardo Souto de Moura.
With a degree in architecture, he furthered his studies in the area of Integrated Sustainable Energy in Buildings and later completed an executive master's degree at MIT Portugal. He is currently a PhD candidate at MIT Portugal and KIC InnoEnergy.
He worked as an independent consultant for the German International Cooperation and, from 2019 to 2021, after the architectural project for the Cape Verde Cultural Center, he took on the role of its manager, programmer and curator. As technical and cultural advisor to the Cape Verde Embassy in Portugal, he has curated solo and group exhibitions in partnership with various national and international organizations.
